I have divided resources by subject matter:

• Software and IP:  software licensing, partner & reseller agreements, patent and other IP protection and discussion;
• Corporate:  funding matters, directors’ duties, filing obligations and other corporate requirements;
• Employment: employment law, employee rights, compensation, including share options; and
• Misc: a smattering of everything else.

The material included under each heading consists of material developed by me, references to source material that I find useful (such as statutes, cases and other governmental material) and other useful links, such as discussion boards, articles and legal blogs.

Most of my clients are small software companies and so a lot of the material I’ve written is aimed at them.  So, when I talk about employment law, I generally talk about it from the perspective of the company, rather than the employee.  Or when I talk about funding, I talk about it from the perspective of the target company, rather than from the perspective of a VC or acquirer.  All my own material should be viewed with that in mind.  The site disclaimer is particularly relevant for this material.
